Sacrifice is often required to achieve your dreams

I have thought long and hard on many things since the new year has started, and I've realized many things, one of them being my lust to see more then merely my own country, I love my friends more then I care to think about, but, I long to see Germany, Japan, Italy, Rome, The Vatican Wall, more then I long for anything else, I can not merely be condemned to roam in one land. So for me, the new year starts now, not on january 1st but rather now, when I begin to attempt the impossible, to gain enough money to do what I long for, my journey itself will probably not start till sometime in 2012, when I will have enough money for the required items

I'll never understand myself.

Just like the title says, I've come to the conclusion that I will never understand myself, I'll never fully figure out why I am the way I am, why it is I can never be happy, why it is that seeing other people happy hurts me, and pisses me off so much, why the things I want always drift too far for me to reach, and why the people I care about come and go like the wind, why is it that the only consistancy I have in my life, is my addiction to adrenaline, which sometimes actually ends up hurting me, my only comfort is speed, and the faster I go the more dangerous my life get's, i want to understand myself, i want to not hate people who are happy
